‘The Indian Libertarian’ was a fortnightly journal, founded in 1954 by Indian liberal, Ranchhoddas Bhuvan Lotwala, and edited by his daughter Kusum R Lotwala. This edition (Vol. 6. No. 2) of the journal was published on April 1, 1958 and includes several articles. The editorial includes the arena of Arab Unity, conspiracy in Saudi Arabia, Pan-Islam, India’s foreign policy, the Muslim League and Sheikh Abdullah’s plan to get India out of Kashmir. “Mixed Economy-A Broken Reed” by M.A. Venkata Rao targets Nehru  for the mockery of the constitution and considers the concept of mixed economy as legalized robbery. “Nehru-A Bundle Of Frayed Nerves” by J.K. Dhairyawan talks about Nehru’s exhibition of temper for Rajkumari Amrit Kaur. “Noon Wants India To Commit Political ‘Harikari’ ” by Vigilant talks about the defence expenditure and the conditions in East Pakistan. “And the Ostrich with Its Head In the Sand” by Kishore Valicha includes Nehru’s admission of the failure of India’s policy towards Pakistan and the article suggests Nehru to not play the game with the people of India  and India’s defence against Pakistan must be ensured. “Holding the Mirror to the Congress Face” by Jay Kay Talks about Congress leader Dr. Anant Chintaman lagu’s arrest by the Poona C.I.D. This edition of the Journal includes the second series of “True Tales-Helen Keller” by Verus. Further the edition includes some thoughts on the Income and other taxes, Denmark-the crisis of a welfare state, Mrs. Vijayalaxmi Pandit shielding a hostel warden, insincerity in socialist professions, and an article on “Mr. Khrushchev Admission to Mrs. Roosevelt, Russia is not communist” by Fred G. Clark and Richard Stanton Rimanoczy. The journal ends with a suggestion programme for a new party and book reviews.
