The following booklet titled “”The New Class” in a State dominated Economy” was published in December, 1980, and was authored by M. H. Moody. The text is based on an address to an international seminar at Goa in December 1980. The author begins the text by referring to what is meant by “The New Class” and the demographics associated with this class. The author refers to this new class dynamic created as a system and states certain consequences of it. The author also explains the environment of all the classes combined created in which they describe the elite, the upper-middle class, the middle class and the class that has been pushed to the periphery. The author takes a special note of the trade union movement of the workers and talks about it on both western and global level. Moreover, the author talks about all that contributed to create this new class and all that keeps this class uptight in a mutual system.
