The Forum of Free Enterprise is a non-political organization founded in 1956 by A. D. Shroff, and has been established to educate public opinion in India on free enterprise and a democratic way of life. The Forum publishes booklets to further its objects. The following booklet is titled “A Solution to the Housing Problem in India”. The author H. T. Parekh discusses the probable solutions to the then existing housing problem in the country. He suggests what the government must do with the help of the existing machinery and what new mechanisms they should invent for better solving such problems.
