The Forum of Free Enterprise is a non-political organization founded in 1956 by A.D Shroff and was established to educate public opinion in India on free enterprise and a democratic way of life. The Forum publishes booklets to further its objects. The following booklet titled, “Free Enterprise is Economic Democracy” was published in 1995 and was authored by Lady Margaret Thatcher. The author focused on the role of the State in the procurement of keeping finances and currency in order. The author emphasized the concert of privatization and provided instances of rapid economic expansion through the very approach. The article titled, “The new world order,” highlighted the purview of the economics of politics. Lastly, the author concluded that the attributes of freedom continue to be largely reflected in a democratic nation, and this what we need to preserve when people hand over the power to the government in order to acquire rights.
