‘The Indian Libertarian’ was a fortnightly journal, founded in 1954 by Indian liberal, Ranchhoddas Bhuvan Lotwala, and edited by his daughter Kusum R Lotwala. This edition (Vol. 7, No. 25) of the journal was published on February 1, 1960. The editorial covers development within the ruling Congress party. Indo-China relations are addressed in ‘Indo-China Border Dispute’ by Swarajya, ‘Nehru’s Bluff and Bluster’ by M N Tholal, and ‘Menace From The North’. ‘Agricultural Policy of The Swatantra Party’ by ‘Democrat’ discusses the new party’s agricultural policy that has been formed in almost direct opposition to the government policy on the same. This edition also includes book reviews, letters to the editor, Rationalist Supplement and news reports.
