‘The Indian Libertarian’ was a fortnightly journal, founded in 1954 by Indian liberal, Ranchhoddas Bhuvan Lotwala, and edited by his daughter Kusum R Lotwala. This edition (Vol. 10, No. 22) of this journal was published on February 15, 1963. The editorial covers ‘Will Europe Call De Gaulle’s Bluff?’, ‘English Cannot Be Suppressed’, and ‘The Yellow Metal Crisis’.  The journal contains several articles and the very first article, titled “Morale And Leadership In War-time” by M.A. Venkata Rao talks about the defeat of Indian forces by the Chinese forces in the Northeast Frontier Agency areas. “All Roads Lead To Alignment” by M.N. Tholal discusses Prime Minister Nehru’s take on the Colombo proposals and suggests alignment is the only option to secure India’s international relations. “Planning Vs. The Free Market” by Henry Hazlitt draws a comparison between the economic planning and a planning where no government interferes. Further, the writer discusses the aspects of Planning and the bureaucratic choice. He then compares the voluntary sector and the coercive sector, discussing the wrong policies led by the Nehru government. “Escalation Into Surrender: Socialist Dictators: ‘King’ Kairon” talks about the socialist dictators and Chief Minister Kairon. The journal ends with book reviews and book reviews.
