The Forum of Free Enterprise is a non-political organization founded in 1956 by A.D Shroff and was established to educate public opinion in India on free enterprise and a democratic way of life. The Forum publishes booklets to further its objects. The following booklet titled, “Economic thinking of Lord Keynes ” was published in 1968 and was authored by Prof. Dudley Dillard. The professor here is an authority on Keynesian economics and helped decipher some of the key concepts in regards to deficit planning and inflation for a better understanding in the field of Indian economic affairs. The author focused on the principles that Keynes had laid down pertaining to the abstract and practical government policies. Mr. Dudley covered numerous concepts in the course of his paper. He also contrasted the Marxian overview to the Keynesian purview. And lastly concluded by upholding John Maynard Keynes as a defender of industrial capitalism.
