‘The Indian Libertarian’ was a fortnightly journal, founded in 1954 by Indian liberal, Ranchhoddas Bhuvan Lotwala, and edited by his daughter Kusum R Lotwala. This edition (Vol. 7, No. 24) of the journal was published on January 15, 1960. The editorial takes stock of the year that has gone by and goes over the various issues that have been important domestically and in the international sphere. Several articles in this edition cover economic issues including, ‘What Is Wrong With Planning?’ by M A Venkata Rao, ‘Enforcement of Fair Competition’ by William Paton, and ‘Labour Is Not The Sole Source of Wealth’ by Albert Morgan. Further, this edition also includes an Economic Supplement. Other contributors to this edition include K Kumara Sekhar, Prof. G N Lawande, and M N Tholal. This edition also includes book reviews, letters to the editor, and a satire section called ‘In Lighter Vein’.
