‘The Indian Libertarian’ was a fortnightly journal, founded in 1954 by Indian liberal, Ranchhoddas Bhuvan Lotwala, and edited by his daughter Kusum R Lotwala. This edition (Vol. 11, No. 5) of the journal was published on June 1, 1963. The editorial titled ‘Bread or Socialism?’ discusses the ideology of socialism and its inherent problems. ‘Collective Responsibility’ by M A Venkata Rao discusses the issue of building national unity within the country. Mildred J Loomis discusses the life of Ralph Borsodi in ‘Ralph Borsodi: Man of Action’. This issue also contains book reviews and news reports, including the developments in the relations between India and Pakistan.
