The Forum of Free Enterprise is a non-political organization founded in 1956 by A.D Shroff and was established to educate public opinion in India on free enterprise and a democratic way of life. The Forum publishes booklets to further its objects. The following booklet titled, “How big are big enterprises in India” was published in 1971 and was authored by H.T. Parekh. The author focused on the nature of the restrictive policies that changed the sector and the way forward after it. Mr. Parekh emphasizes the successful venture that was needed for the growth of the industrial sector in pursuance of the technological progress being made. He lastly concluded by underlining the much-needed change in governmental policies and the needed shift in the concentration of industrial powers out of the shackles of the advent of monopoly.
