The Forum of Free Enterprise is a non-political organization founded in 1956 by A.D Shroff and was established to educate public opinion in India on free enterprise and a democratic way of life. The Forum publishes booklets to further its objects. The following booklet titled, “Water Futures Its Everybody’s Business ” was published in 2012 and was authored by Rohini Nlekani. The booklet has focused on the sustenance of water capacity for all in its natural form. The author focused on the increase of capita consumption of water due to high urbanization, industrialization but the downturn in its availability. The author emphasized the introduction of systems to ensure minimum wastage of water and its necessitated equitable distribution. The author highlighted the much-needed awareness in relation to the crisis and provided examples of how water can be used in a better way with the help of good practices and policies for a change in the graph for growth rates.
