Summary

This June 1962 issue of the Swatantra Newsletter reports on the party’s performance in the General Elections, its representation in the Lok Sabha and state assemblies, and its organisational plans. It lists the party’s parliamentary strength, identifies opposition leaders in several state assemblies, records by-election victories in Kutch-Mandvi and Barkagaon, and describes plans for enrolment, internal elections, research, legislative coordination, and candidate training.
