National Biography

Booklet series · 2 works · 2007–2010

The National Book Trust's long-running series of short lives of Indians, issued in English and in Indian-language translations at a deliberately low cover price. The archive holds it for S. V. Raju's life of Minoo Masani, published in English in 2007 and in Hindi in 2010 — the only full-length biography of Masani in the collection. The run is not numbered on the books themselves; sibling titles listed in the 2007 volume include lives of Dadasaheb Phalke, Homi Jehangir Bhabha, Hasrat Mohani, Indira Gandhi and Yusuf Meherally.
