Asha Bhende wrote for Quest, the journal of ideas sponsored by the Indian Committee for Cultural Freedom, appearing in one issue of the archive’s run (Vol. II No. 3 (December 1956-January 1957)).

Quest’s contributor note in Vol. II No. 3 (December 1956-January 1957), p. 79 reads:

Asha Bhende is a well-known actress of the Marathi stage. She is associated with her husband Atmaram Bhende in the avant garde theatre organisation, KALAKAR.
