Leon Emery

Leon Emery wrote for Quest, the journal of ideas sponsored by the Indian Committee for Cultural Freedom, appearing in one issue of the archive’s run (No. 19 (Oct/Dec 1958)).

Quest’s contributor note in No. 19 (Oct/Dec 1958), p. 103 reads:

Leon Emery is a writer and musicologist and former professor at the University of Lyon. He has lost his eyesight but is still publishing a magazine called Caheiers Libres. He has written a number of essays and books on Balzac, Victor Hugo, Beethoven, Goethe, the French revolution, etc.
