Shivanath wrote for Quest, the journal of ideas sponsored by the Indian Committee for Cultural Freedom, appearing in one issue of the archive’s run (No. 34 (monsoon 1962 (cover); JULY/SEPT. 1962 (contents page)).

Quest’s contributor note in No. 34 (monsoon 1962 (cover); JULY/SEPT. 1962 (contents page), p. 110 reads:

SHIVANATH is an officer of the Indian Postal Service on deputation to the Indian Army. He writes: ‘Dogri being my mother tongue, I have been keenly interested in Dogri literature.’
