Quest’s contributor note in Vol. III No. 1 (August-September ‘57), p. 17 reads:

A. K. Ramanujan is a lecturer in English literature at Lingaraj College, Belgaum. Most of his literary work is in Kannada but he has had a poem accepted by Poetry London-New York and is now at work on a doctoral thesis on ‘Myth and Symbol in W. B. Yeats.’ Two of his articles have appeared in the Southern Folklore Quarterly, University of Florida, U.S.A. He is 28.

Quest’s contributor note in Vol. III No. 2 (Oct.-Nov. ‘57), p. 42 reads:

A. K. RAMANUJAN No te: The ‘three eousins’ are perhaps the three ‘gunas’ the thrcc-fukl modes of nature; and ‘Kanna’ is rendered here as ‘the unwilled past.’
