Quest’s contributor note in Vol. I No. 2 (October-November 1955), p. 72 reads:

Prabhakar Padhye is well known as a short story writer in Marathi and a contributor in English to Indian and foreign periodicals. He is the Secretary for Asian Affairs of the Congress for Cultural Freedom.

Quest’s contributor note in No. 22 (July/Sept. 1959 (quarterly), p. 101 reads:

PRABHAKAR PADHYE used to be well-known as a short story writer in Marathi till a few years ago when his literary career was interrupted by political writing and organisational work.
