Quest’s contributor note in No. 26 (July/Sept 1960), p. 103 reads:

SUDHINDRANATH DATTA is a leading poet and critic in Bengali and lectures on Comparative Literature at Jadavpur University. The quarterly Parichaya edited by him in the thirties was mainly responsible for introducing new trends in poetry and criticism into Bengali literature.
