Abu Sayeed Ayyub contributed to Quest, the journal of ideas sponsored by the Indian Committee for Cultural Freedom, appearing in 31 issues of the archive’s run (No. 17 (April - June 1958) to No. 51 (OCT./DEC. 1966 (front cover dates the issue ‘autumn 1966’)).

Quest’s contributor note in No. 17 (April - June 1958), p. 95 reads:

Abu Sayeed Ayyub has taught Philosophy at the Universities of Calcutta and Visvabharati. His book The Nature of Intrinsic Value is awaiting publication. He h as e dited two anthologies of contemporary Bengali poetry.

Quest’s contributor note in No. 25 (April/June 1960), p. 103 reads:

ABU SAYEED AYYUB has taught philosophy at the universities of Calcutta and Viswa-Bharati, and edited two anthologies of modern Bengali poetry.
